A quiet oasis amongst the hustle and bustle of the city centre, Lock Works cafè bar offers a relaxed atmosphere to unwind and meet up with friends for food, a drink or a chat. Situated beside Light House Box Office and Gallery, Lock Works opens out into the glazed courtyard at the centre of the historic Chubb Buildings. Lock Works cafè bar is a non-smoking and family friendly environment. 

Lock Works menu includes meat, veggie and healthy options, freshly prepared sandwiches, salads, pasta, paninis, soup and curries plus a mouth-watering selection of cakes and snacks with the emphasis on quality. Lock Works also serves a wide range of teas and coffees, wines, speciality beers and classic and organic soft drinks. Food and drinks are available to eat-in or take-away with pre-orders accepted by phone or email. If you are coming to a film screening you can take your drinks into the cinema auditorium with you.

HANDMADE AT LIGHT HOUSE

BROCK HALL FARM
Handmade goats cheese is supplied direct to us from Brock Hall Farm set in a picturesque location among the stunning Shropshire hills. Where a small and treasured herd of pure Saanen goats, roam free and provide sweet milk resulting in a pure white, mouth-watering goats cheese. The cheese is made using traditional methods allowing for a delicate and subtle tang of natural goats cheese to develop over time. We were immediately impressed with the taste and quality of the product that we included this as a staple on our menu and can been seen and tasted on Salads, Paninis, Ciabbatta or simply served on fresh door stop bread.
 

RENNISONS BUTCHERS
Finding a supplier for all of our meat products was easy; just two minutes walk from Lock Works are traditional butchers John Rennison’s, an established business in Wolverhampton for over 100 years, Supply fresh produce to us daily, in fact their Garlic Sausage is specifically made for us, and cooked cuts of ham, pork and beef have livened up classic sandwiches with a taste, texture and quality that you can’t get with supermarket packaged products. All of the meat is locally sourced and Rennison’s are recognised by Heart of England Fine Foods as an accredited supplier, not to mention countless BPEX awards for their traditional sausages and pies, all made on their premises on Queens Street.

 
DRINKS
We strive to develop our range of beverages to not only complement our food but to introduce new brands to our customers. We switched from stocking Budweiser to Budvar after hearing about the trademark disputes the smaller Czech brewery had with the American brewery – Budvar has a well rounded and pure taste. Krombacher (a German pilsner) was the pride of Germany but due to the recession were forced to export this fresh & light pilsner. We were very lucky to get this on draught and became a favourite with our customers. Krombacher is only available at Lock Works for a limited time.

Santa Serena (Gold Standard Wines) Merlot, Sauvignon Blanc & Zinfandel are our house wines. And we introduced Wolverhampton to Pacifico & Modelo niche products by Grupo Modelo the producers of Corona, the UKs number one selling bottled lager.
 

The Future will include more product development in search of niche brands of wines, lagers, beers, ciders and spirits to bring our customers the finest.
